About Us

I continually strive for excellence, while not forgetting the needs and expectations of my clients. I interview my clients to learn as much as I can about their personality, so I can reflect that in my work.

My goal is to create photographs that are works of art. To achieve that goal I continually seek out opportunities to learn more.

I specialize in senior portraits, children, maternity and new born, family and weddings

I have over 38 years experience in professional photography.

I have taken many courses over the years including, courses at Juniata College, Penn State, Triangle Institute of Photography, PPA of PA, and Imaging USA/PPA of America

Personal History:

I have been a resident of Huntingdon my entire life. I've been a photographer since 1980 and started my business in 1983 (the name MJEMS comes from my initials). I am also very involved with my community. In 1982 I married my husband Burgess. Together will built the studio we now have in our back yard. When I'm not photographing you can probably find me on a golf course.
